I
did start my career as a
professional writer, before getting my
Master Degree
in
Italian Language and Literature, French
Literature and History of Art.
Then I got a
PhD in
Romance Philology and a double "venia legendi" (or
Habilitation) in Italian Literature and Old French Literature.
Since 2010 I am Privatdozentin, a kind of Associate Professor, within the Department of Romance Languages and Literature at the University of Zurich.
I also do have 25 years of journalistic experience in print, radio and television.
One of the things I'm most passionate about in my life is and will always be writing, but my greatest pleasure is spending time with my daughters!

Research projects on the "Tristan's last Metamorphosis"; on the cultural impact of Thomas Becket's circle, with particular attention to Marie de France's cultural background and historical identity.
