Welcome to my personal web page, where you will find materials chiefly related to my academic works. Please have a look around and don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Let me introduce myself. I did start my career as a professional writer in 1987, before getting my Master Degree in Italian Language and Literature, French Literature and History of Art (at the Universität Zürich, in 1998). Then I earned a PhD (Doktorat) in Romance Philology (in 2005, at the Université de Fribourg) and a double Habilitation (in 2010, back in Zurich) in Italian Literature and Old French Literature. From 2010 to 2016 I worked within the Department of Romance Languages and Literature as a Privatdozentin. In 2017 I was granted the title of Titularprofessorin der Universität Zürich (go to Education) and I am currently Professor at the Uni Zürich and Editor-in-Chief of the academic journal Theory and Criticism of Literature and Arts (digital version ISSN 2297-1874, printed version ISSN 2504-2238) and Director of the Research Centre for European Philological Tradition RECEPTIO (www.receprio.eu). I also do have 30 years of journalistic experience in print, radio and television. One of the things I'm most passionate about in my life is and will always be writing. With the publication of a new novel in Italian, of an anthology of poems in French, followed by a satirical and eccentric collection of short stories in English, written in an idiosyncratic language, consisting in multilingual puns and portmanteau words, I forged my heteronym, for whom I conceived a highly distinctive technique and poetic idiom.
